Highlights from the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month workshop show the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) training staff at the Head Office and zonal offices in Kumasi, Sekondi, Sunyani, and Tamale on Monday, 13th and Friday, 17th October 2025.
Under the theme “Building a Safe, Informed and Accountable Digital Space,” the workshop focused on cybersecurity, misinformation, AI risks, and data protection. Mrs. Maame Samma Peprah, Acting Registrar of Companies, emphasized the importance of understanding and preventing cybersecurity threats to protect the organization’s information systems.
Facilitated by a five-member team from the Cyber Security Authority, staff learned practical steps to secure data, recognize cyber threats, and adopt safe digital habits. The interactive sessions equipped employees with the knowledge and skills to strengthen ORC’s cybersecurity, safeguard critical data, and maintain public trust in its digital operations.
